Swimming is a sport that is highly specialized. Our
coaches are trained and certified by the American Swim Coaches
Association. It is a professional staff with the most
up-to-date information on technique and
training.
In addition to the expertise needed to provide the best
atmosphere possible for your child, there is also a lot of time
involved in planning, preparation, and implementation. As
with any employment, our coaches need to be paid for their time and
effort.
We essentially have 5 parts to our fee
structure.
·
USA-Swimming our governing body,
provides us with our insurance. Every member of our team must
be registered with USA-Swimming or our insurance is void.
This comes in two forms: an annual membership which covers you from
September till September and a seasonal membership which covers you
from April till September. This fee varies from year to
year. This fee is paid once a year (depending upon when you
start)
·
Club registration fee: This
helps us cover the cost of the free t-shirt that you get upon
registering with the club as well as administrative aspects that
are incurred throughout the year. These fees are paid once
per season.
·
Monthly Dues: These are
fees paid monthly. They are group fees. This is what
you pay to be apart of a certain group.
·
Meet Fees: When
participating in a meet, your child will be charged for each
individual event they swim. They can swim up to 5 events per
day of a swim meet and up to 3 days for a total of 15 events.
Most meets they will participate in between 8-10 events. An
individual event fee ranges from $2.50 - $5.oo. You will be
billed for the events your child participates
in.
